A protest demonstration and rally were held in Noshki, Balochistan, against the enforced disappearance of Ghani Baloch, a central leader of the National Democratic Party (NDP) and a publisher. The protest saw a large turnout of political activists, human rights defenders, women, and youth.
The demonstrators carried banners, placards, and photos of Ghani Baloch, demanding his immediate release, an end to enforced disappearances, and justice for those responsible.
Protesters urged the government and authorities to immediately bring Ghani Baloch to light, provide him with his constitutional and legal rights, and inform his family about his health and current condition.
It is worth noting that Ghani Baloch was forcibly disappeared by Pakistani forces near Khuzdar on the night of May 25 while traveling from Quetta to Karachi. He remains missing to this day.
