The Sindhudesh Revolutionary Army (SRA) has claimed responsibility for the hand grenade attack on Naseem Nagar Police Station in Hyderabad.
In a statement, SRA spokesperson Sudho Sindhi said that the Pakistani Punjabi state has devised a plan to completely occupy Sindh’s land, resources, and the Indus River, and in doing so, it is carrying out the systematic genocide of the Sindhi nation. He accused the Sindh Police of playing a key role in executing this plan by acting as a front-line force for the Pakistani military. According to the SRA, the police are being used to suppress the national political resistance of the Sindhi people through violence, arrests, enforced disappearances, and even targeted killings citing the recent killing of two Sindhi youth in Moro as an example.
Sudho Sindhi specifically condemned the Hyderabad police, particularly those stationed at Naseem Nagar, for using force, including baton charges, against national protests and sit-ins at Wadhu Wah Bypass. He alleged that the police have played an active role in abductions and arrests of national activists and have aligned themselves with the oppressive policies of the Punjabi state.
The spokesperson declared that the grenade attack serves as a final warning to all state-loyal officers within the Sindh Police to cease supporting the Punjabi state’s occupation and repression in Sindh. He warned that those who continue to support the state’s agenda will become targets of Sindhudesh’s national army and will face severe consequences.
In conclusion, the SRA reaffirmed its commitment to continue its armed resistance until Sindh achieves complete national independence.
