Balochistan :The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the media wing of the Pakistan Army, has claimed that security forces killed seven Baloch armed fighters during two separate operations in different parts of Balochistan.
According to an official ISPR statement, five members of an unnamed Baloch armed group were killed in a military operation in the Mach area of Kachhi, while two others were killed in a separate action in the Morgand area of Kalat.
The statement further claimed that a large cache of weapons and ammunition was recovered from the alleged militants. However, images circulating on social media show only a single Kalashnikov rifle, raising suspicions that the victims might be forcibly disappeared persons rather than active combatants. Their identities have not yet been confirmed.
Similar allegations have been made in the past, where missing persons were reportedly killed in staged encounters and later branded as Baloch militants. Several such incidents were reported just last month.
So far, no Baloch armed organization has issued a statement regarding the recent military operations.
