HARNAI, BALOCHISTAN: The United Baloch Army (UBA) has claimed responsibility for an attack on a Pakistani military convoy in the Spin Tangi Duljal area of Harnai.

In a statement issued to the media, UBA spokesperson Mazar Baloch said that fighters targeted a two-vehicle convoy belonging to the occupying Pakistani army with automatic weapons at around 9:00 a.m. today.

According to Mazar Baloch, the Pakistani forces were ambushed as they were advancing back toward posts they had vacated some time earlier.

The spokesperson said the attack killed three personnel on the spot and wounded several others. A fierce clash broke out between the two sides following the attack and continued for approximately an hour, after which the military contingent retreated and withdrew.

The UBA spokesperson further stated that the organisation claims full responsibility for the attack, adding that such attacks would continue until the goal of an independent Balochistan is achieved.
