QUETTA, BALOCHISTAN: The Spokesperson for Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF) Major Gwaharam Baloch has solemnly paid tribute to its fallen fighters who sacrificed their lives in the defense of national liberation and the homeland.
Major Gwahram Baloch, spokesperson for BLF, honored the memory of martyrs including Captain Akhtar Dawood, Khalil Ahmed, Imran Aajo, Hasil, Inayatullah, Asad Rahim, Mujeeb-ur-Rehman, Sahil Arman, Javid and Muhammad Younis, recognizing their ultimate sacrifice in the national war of liberation.
The BLF emphasized that these brave fighters remained unwaveringly committed to the national cause until their last breath, fulfilling their duty and sending a strong message to adversaries that the Baloch nation stands ready to make every sacrifice without compromise for its freedom, survival and identity.
Captain Akhtar Dawood, also known as Ali Sher, was a long-serving and dedicated fighter who joined the BLF in November 2011. Hailing from Pirandar, Awaran, he initially received ideological and political training before moving to the military frontlines. Martyr Captain Akhtar Dawood was counted among the organization’s long-serving, hardworking, and devoted sarmachars, and his military and leadership abilities led the organization to elevate him to the responsible rank of captain. Known for his leadership and bravery, Captain Akhtar fought on the challenging fronts of Awaran, Jhao, Mashkay, Gichk and Washuk and played a key role in major operations including one in Naal. He was martyred on August 2, 2026, during an organizational mission in Bedi, Awaran, while confronting armed national criminals. His brother, Second Lieutenant Imtiaz Baloch, was also a dedicated fighter who was martyred in July 2019.
Khalil Ahmed, alias Ustad Awais, joined the BLF a year ago and was entrusted with training fighters, earning the title “Ustad” for his role as a military instructor. He participated in significant operations on various fronts, including Naghau. On August 14, 2026, Khalil Ahmed and fellow martyr Imran Aajo engaged in a fierce battle with Pakistani forces disguised in civilian clothes in Quetta’s Daghari area. Their courageous stand allowed other fighters to retreat safely, though both lost their lives in the hour-long clash that resulted in casualties among enemy personnel.
Imran Aajo, a hafiz of the Quran and a fighter from Kelli Shahnawaz, Sariyab, joined the BLF two years ago and was known for his courage and dedication. He carried out various military and organizational duties during guerrilla warfare on the difficult fronts of Jhao, Naal, and Awaran. He carried out every organizational duty with great diligence and, through his character, hard work, and revolutionary spirit, earned a respected place among his fellow fighters in the organization’s ranks. Despite severe wounds sustained during the August 14 clash, he continued fighting valiantly until his last breath, exemplifying bravery for future generations.
Hasil, alias Munir Ahmed from Lanjar, joined the struggle in 2025 and was known for his sincerity, discipline, and courage. He was martyred on August 9, 2026, in a clash with death-squad forces during a routine patrol in Jhao Wadih. His bravery enabled other fighters to gain a stronger position and counterattack effectively.
Inayatullah, alias Sher Zaman, joined the BLF this year and quickly proved his bravery by participating in significant operations on fronts including Bolan, Kaabu, Maran, and Dasht. In this short period, he first carried out urban duties and then, by organizational decision, moved to the mountain front. In this brief time, he took part in important combat operations, inflicting losses of life and resources on the enemy. He was martyred on July 22, 2026, in Mastung during a clash with enemy forces.
Asad Rahim joined the BLF in 2017 and carried out armed actions and intelligence duties on the urban front. While employed with the occupying Pakistan Navy, he gathered important information from Siddique Air Base and passed it on to the organization. , he was moved from the urban front to the mountain front on 13 June 2026. On 15 July 2026, enemy forces besieged the fighters at Dilsar in Dasht Balnigwar. Fighting in the front line, he launched a counterattack on the enemy that weakened the siege, and while providing cover for other sarmachars to withdraw, he was martyred fighting bravely. He was a brave and knowledgeable fighter well versed in guerrilla strategy. Working in a sensitive location like Siddique Air Base, he provided the organization with extremely important information about the enemy; his decade spent working close to the enemy while serving the national war is clear proof of his guerrilla capabilities.
Mujeeb-ur-Rehman, alias Shay Mureed, joined the BLF’s urban network three years ago under the command of martyred Major Mama Chakar. He remained constantly active and ready for organizational tasks. Whether it was logistical needs or military duties, he carried out all his responsibilities faithfully and diligently. By organizational decision, he moved to the mountain front in February 2026. In this short period, he rendered national service on the fronts of Khad Kocha, Mastung, Zehri, Shor, Barkhan, Manguchar, and Kalat, inflicting blows upon enemy that will be remembered for history. He was a fighter endowed with leadership ability, and because of this he was also entrusted with responsibility for a camp, which he carried out steadfastly until his martyrdom. He attained the rank of martyrdom in a clash with the enemy on 19 May 2026.
Sahil Arman, alias Peeral, joined the struggle in November 2025 and During military training he gained organizational discipline, ideological maturity, and a basic grounding in the principles of warfare, after which he moved to the regular front with firm resolve. He was a sincere, hardworking, fearless, and diligent fighter. In this brief period, he carried out various military and national duties during guerrilla warfare on Balochistan’s difficult fronts, fulfilling every organizational duty faithfully. He was known for his dedication and fearlessness in guerrilla warfare until his martyrdom.
Javid, alias Murshid, enlisted in 2013 and played a vital role in frontline operations in Balgatar and surrounding areas, striking impactful blows against occupying forces until his martyrdom. Martyr Javid, formally joined the Baloch national liberation struggle by enlisting in the BLF in 2013. After receiving military training, he carried out national duties on the fronts of Balgatar and its surrounding areas, dealing heavy blows to the occupying enemy. Martyr Javid, alias Murshid, played an important role on the front line in various engagements against the enemy army. He was an active fighter who was well acquainted with his duties and carried out his organizational affairs skillfully and promptly. He attained the great rank of martyrdom while carrying out organizational duties in Balgatar.
Muhammad Younis, alias Talib, was an urban guerrilla fighter from Kelli Choto, Mastung,. As an urban guerrilla, he carried out national duties under the command of martyred Major Chakar. He was a very brave, hardworking, and devoted fighter. Under urban guerrilla strategy, he kept close watch on enemy movement and military activity and took part very cautiously in actions against the enemy army. However, in keeping with the principles of urban guerrilla strategy, he never revealed his identity. He remained active alongside Martyr Shay Mureed on various fronts and took part in important military actions against the enemy army and its collaborator, the local death squad. He attained the exalted rank of martyrdom in August 2025 in a direct clash with the enemy in the Choto area of Mastung. This clash took place during an attack on an SHO, in which the SHO and four of his personnel were killed. The clash continued after military reinforcements arrived at the scene, in which several more army personnel were killed.
The BLF reaffirmed that the sacrifices of these martyrs are a testament to the Baloch nation’s identity, survival and ongoing struggle for liberation. Major Gwahram Baloch vowed that their mission will continue relentlessly until the goal of national freedom is achieved.
