Three Pakistani Soldiers Killed in Armed Attack in Kech

KECH, BALOCHISTAN: At least three Pakistani military personnel were killed on Sunday morning when armed individuals launched a coordinated attack on Pakistani army posts in the Sorap Border area of Mund Kech, Balochistan.

According to sources, the attack took place at approximately 8:30 am when armed persons opened fire at close range on military personnel stationed at the border posts, killing three soldiers on the spot.

Regional sources confirmed that the bodies of three slain personnel were witnessed at the site of the attack. A Subedar, however, reportedly survived the assault unharmed.

No armed group has claimed responsibility for the attack.

The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) had not issued any official statement regarding the incident at the time of filing this report.
