BARKHAN/KHUZDAR: A man was shot and killed over alleged illicit relations in Barkhan, while an unidentified four-day-old body was recovered from the Nal area of Khuzdar, police said.
According to Barkhan Police, armed individuals opened fire on a man identified as Ali Muhammad in the Nahar Kot area of Barkhan on Monday, killing him on the spot before fleeing the scene.
Upon receiving information, police arrived at the scene, took custody of the body and transferred it to the hospital. Following necessary legal procedures, the body was handed over to the deceased’s family.
Police said the incident appears to be a result of alleged illicit relations, and further investigation is underway.
In a separate incident, an unidentified body estimated to be four days old was recovered from the Nal area of Khuzdar.
The body was transferred to the hospital, where it was placed in the morgue for identification after necessary legal procedures. Khuzdar Police are conducting further investigations into the matter.
