
LONDON: Sarang Sindhi, Coordinator of the Voice for Missing Persons of Sindh (VMPS) Europe Chapter, was awarded a human rights appreciation shield during the 1st International Sindhi Diaspora Conference 2026 held in London, UK.
The conference, organized by the Sindhi Association of North America (SANA) at the University of Westminster Harrow Campus, brought together Sindhi intellectuals, activists and representatives from around the world to discuss unity, identity and ongoing human rights challenges faced by the people of Sindh.
During the event, Sarang Sindhi was recognized for his contributions to human rights advocacy, particularly his efforts in raising awareness about enforced disappearances and supporting affected families.
According to organizers, his work has played an important role in highlighting human rights concerns at international forums and mobilizing support for justice, accountability, and transparency.
Sarang Sindhi has previously worked extensively in Sindh and continues his advocacy across major European cities, including London, Brussels, The Hague and Geneva. His efforts have earned recognition from rights organizations, activists, and members of the global Sindhi community.
