QUETTA: In the Mastung, Pakistani military forces launched a significant operation today by encircling the Dasht and Kambila areas. During the operation, security forces faced heavy attacks, resulting in intense gunfire and explosions reported in the region.
Simultaneously, in the Zamran area of Kech, particularly around Nawano and its surroundings, gunship helicopters and drones were observed conducting flights this morning, indicating heightened military activity. Local sources confirm that forces are actively operating in Zamran as well.
This operation comes after an incident yesterday when armed militants targeted and set ablaze two vehicles carrying rations meant for the Pakistani military in Zamran’s same locality.
In a further escalation, a large group of armed men attacked a Pakistani military camp at Kund Masuri in Dasht, leading to severe gunfire and explosions.
Tragically, during these ongoing clashes in Dasht and Kambila, seven security personnel have reportedly been killed.
Authorities have yet to provide official details regarding these operations and attacks.
