QUETTA: A 13-year-old boy, identified as Amanullah, the son of forcibly disappeared Inayatullah Bangulzai, has been subjected to enforced disappearance in Quetta, according to a complaint received by the Voice for Baloch Missing Persons (VBMP).

According to details, Asad Bangulzai, the brother of Inayatullah Bangulzai, contacted VBMP and reported that his nephew Amanullah was taken away by personnel of the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) on the night of February 20 from Killi Jeo, Quetta.

Family members state that Amanullah’s father, Inayatullah Bangulzai, had already been forcibly disappeared on May 23, 2014, when personnel of the Frontier Corps (FC) detained him from the Splinji area. Despite a production order issued by the relevant commission regarding his case, Inayatullah has not yet been recovered.

The family says that now, years after the father’s disappearance, his minor son has also been forcibly disappeared.

The Voice for Baloch Missing Persons (VBMP) expressed serious concern over the disappearance of the minor and urged authorities to ensure the immediate and safe recovery of Amanullah and his father, Inayatullah Bangulzai.
