
PANJGUR: The body of a young man who was taken into custody by Pakistani forces in Panjgur has reportedly been recovered, family members and local sources said.
According to relatives, Owais Ahmed Baloch, son of Yar Muhammad, was detained during a raid in the Khudabadan area and was injured at the time of his arrest. His family claims he was taken away in a wounded condition and was later killed, with his body subsequently found.
Local sources reported that multiple houses were raided in Khudabadan late last night and gunfire was also heard during the operation. Family members stated that Owais Ahmed was injured during the raid and taken into custody in that condition.
Sources further said that several individuals were detained during the operation and remain missing. Those named by families include Bakhtiar, son of Haji Muhammad Hassan, Irfan, son of Haji Muhammad Hassan, Bilal, son of Haji Muhammad Hassan, Owais Ahmed, son of Yar Muhammad and Hassan, son of Khalil. According to relatives, Bakhtiar, Irfan, and Bilal are brothers.
Family members have also said that women and children were harassed during the raids and that homes were damaged.
There has been no official statement from authorities regarding the allegations at the time of reporting.
