
Panjgur: Over the past week, eight bodies have been recovered in Panjgur, Balochistan, local sources and families reported. According to them, the identified bodies belong to individuals who had previously been disappeared by Pakistani forces.
In the latest incident, two more bodies were reportedly found in Panjgur today. One of them has been identified as Jangiyan son of Abdul Rashid, a resident of the Parom area of Panjgur. The identity of the second body has not yet been confirmed.
Family members said that Jangiyan had been detained by Pakistani forces from Parom on May 26, 2025, along with four other relatives. The other relatives were later released, but no information was provided regarding Jangiyan’s whereabouts.
Jangiyan’s family, stated on social media that Jangiyan was taken into custody by Pakistani forces and their allied armed groups, locally referred to as “death squads,” and transferred to a military camp.
Local social activists noted that in the past week, eight bodies have been recovered from Panjgur. They said all identified victims had previously been reported missing by their families.
