Quetta: The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) has claimed that security forces conducted an operation in Kalat following reports of the presence of armed men, during which four armed individuals were killed.
According to ISPR, weapons and ammunition were recovered from the possession of those killed. The army’s statement said that the individuals were involved in militant activities. The statement added that the clearance operation by security forces in Kalat is still ongoing.
It is worth mentioning that yesterday, a drone strike was carried out in the Shor Parod area of Kalat at the time of sunset, and the sound of a powerful explosion was heard over a long distance. Local sources say that drone flights were also observed in the area today.
Independent verification of the casualties or damages could not be immediately obtained.
