According to local police reports, the deceased have been identified as Zahid Muhammad Hussain, Jasim son of Nawab Jan and Saifullah son of Hayat, while Qadus son of Malang sustained injuries.

In Balochistan, the term “death squad” is used for armed groups to operate under the protection of state institutions and carry out operations against political activists and critics.
