
Gwadar: Pakistani forces have taken two individuals into custody in separate operations in Pasni and Gwadar and shifted them to undisclosed locations.
According to sources, on the previous day Pakistani forces conducted a raid on a house in the Panwan area of Jiwani, where personnel vandalized the property and assaulted the occupants. During the raid, Syed Muhammad, son of Shahu, was arrested and taken away by the Pakistani forces. His whereabouts have remained unknown since then. Sources stated that Syed Muhammad had also been subjected to enforced disappearance in the past and was later recovered.
Sources further revealed that at least five members of the same family Syed Muhammad Kalmaty, Noor Bakhsh Kalmaty, Jalil Kalmaty, Ali Nawaz Kalmaty and Fariq Kalmaty have previously been forcibly disappeared after being taken into custody at different times.
In another incident, Ashraf Solangi, son of Ajab Khan Solangi, a young man from Dera Murad Jamali, was arrested by Pakistani forces in Gwadar and subsequently forcibly disappeared. According to sources, Ashraf Solangi has been missing for the past four to five days. He was running a petrol business in Gwadar. Family members and local sources said that no information has been provided by the forces regarding his whereabouts since his arrest.
The families of the missing persons have appealed to the government and relevant authorities for the immediate recovery of Ashraf Solangi and all other forcibly disappeared individuals.
