Quetta: The central spokesperson of the Baloch Students Organization (BSO) has strongly condemned the state crackdown and political actions carried out in Sindh, particularly during Cultural Day celebrations.
In a statement, the BSO said that violence, illegal arrests and the registration of FIRs by state institutions against political activists and students participating in Sindh Cultural Day events across the province are deeply condemnable. The organization stated that such actions are a direct attack on freedom of expression and democratic political activity and reflect a serious violation of constitutional rights in the country.
The spokesperson said that the BSO unequivocally demands the immediate withdrawal of all false and politically motivated FIRs registered against student leaders, including Akash Kalhoro and Faisal Talpur, as well as against all other political activists. The organization also called for the immediate and unconditional release of all detained political prisoners and students.
The statement further said that the BSO salutes the unwavering struggle of all progressive and conscious forces in Sindh, particularly the Sindh Students Federation (Sindh Shagird Sabha), who are resisting state repression in Sindh and Balochistan. Expressing full political solidarity with them, the spokesperson added that the youth’s conscious movement will stand like a solid wall against every form of oppression
