BLA Claims Responsibility for Bomb Attacks in Panjgur and Jaffarabad

Quetta: The Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) has claimed responsibility for two separate bomb attacks targeting Pakistani security forces in Panjgur and Jaffarabad districts.

According to a statement issued by BLA spokesperson Jeeyand Baloch, the group’s fighters carried out a remote-controlled IED attack on a Pakistani military vehicle on the CPEC route in the Rahi Nagor area of Panjgur on Wednesday. The spokesperson said the attack caused unspecified losses to the forces.

In another incident, BLA fighters targeted a police checkpoint in Jaffarabad’s Shahi Chowk area late Tuesday night using a hand grenade, leaving one police officer seriously injured, the spokesperson added.
