VBMP Urges Government to Ensure Safe Recovery of Forcibly Disappeared Chakar Akbar

Quetta: The Voice for Baloch Missing Persons (VBMP) has called on the authorities to ensure the safe recovery of Chakar Akbar, who was forcibly disappeared by Pakistani forces.

In a statement, the VBMP said that Chakar Akbar, son of Akbar Ali, was reportedly detained by Pakistani forces from his home in the Pidrak area on the night of October 6 and has since been forcibly disappeared.

The organization added that despite repeated appeals, the administration has failed to provide any information regarding his whereabouts. The VBMP urged the government to take immediate steps for Chakar Akbar’s safe recovery.
