Hub: The family of Maroo Koh Baloch, who was forcibly disappeared by Pakistani forces yesterday from Daro Hotel, Hub, has blocked the Quetta–Karachi National Highway at Bhawani, Hub, demanding his safe recovery.
According to the protesting family, Maroo, son of Pendo, was taken into custody by security forces without any legal justification. The family has demanded that if Maroo has committed any wrongdoing, he should be presented before a court rather than being illegally detained.
Due to the ongoing sit-in, long queues of vehicles have formed on both sides of the highway, causing major disruption to traffic flow.
Heavy contingents of police, including DSP Hub Circle Imam Yaqoob Baloch, SHO Berot Attaullah Jamot, and SHO Height Amin Sasoli, are present at the scene. Authorities are reportedly engaged in negotiations with the protesters to resolve the situation peacefully and reopen the road.
