
Naseerabad: Three soldiers were killed and five injured in multiple attacks on Pakistani forces in Naseerabad, while two electricity towers were destroyed.
A spokesperson for the Baloch Republican Guards (BRG), Doostain Baloch, stated in a press release that its fighters attacked a checkpost of the Pakistani forces near Nautal in the Naseerabad region using heavy and modern weaponry. As a result of the attack, two personnel were killed on the spot and four others were seriously injured.
The spokesperson added that, meanwhile, BRG fighters blew up electricity transmission towers in the Chhatar area of Naseerabad that carry power from Balochistan to Punjab by planting explosive devices. The explosion destroyed two towers completely and severely damaged two others.
He further said that a third attack took place in the Rabi area of Naseerabad, where security personnel guarding a gas facility were targeted with a remote-controlled bomb. One soldier was killed and another seriously injured in the explosion.
The spokesperson concluded that the BRG claims responsibility for these attacks and stated that such operations will continue until the “freedom of Balochistan.”
