Kalat: Quetta–Karachi Highway Blocked in Protest Over Power Outage

Kalat: Residents of Kalat blocked the Quetta–Karachi main highway on Sunday to protest the prolonged power outage in the area.

The road closure caused a massive traffic jam, with dozens of vehicles stranded on both sides and passengers facing severe inconvenience.

Protesters said they had repeatedly informed K-Electric (KESCO) about the issue, but no action was taken.

“We are extremely distressed due to the sudden and extended power outage,” one protester said. “We will continue our protest and keep the road closed until our demands are met.”
