Basima: Attack on Pakistani Forces Leaves Several Soldiers Dead and Injured

Besima, Washuk: A convoy of Pakistani security forces came under attack in the Basima area of Washuk district, Balochistan, early Saturday morning, resulting in reports of multiple casualties among the personnel.

According to local sources, the attack took place in the Patak area of Basima when armed assailants ambushed a military convoy consisting of three vehicles. The assailants opened heavy fire and reportedly used explosives during the assault, leading to intense gunfire and explosions that lasted for several minutes.

No official statement has been released by the authorities so far.

Preliminary reports suggest that several personnel were killed and injured in the attack, though the exact number of casualties has not yet been confirmed.

Armed attacks of this nature are frequently carried out by Baloch insurgent groups operating in the region, who later claim responsibility. However, no group has yet claimed responsibility for the Basima attack at the time of reporting.
