Kalatr: A complete shutter-down strike was observed in Kalat’s Manguchar area on Saturday in protest against the abduction of a local youth, while demonstrators blocked the Quetta-Karachi National Highway, bringing all traffic to a halt.
According to protesters, Inayatullah Lehri was abducted by unidentified individuals from Rahim Market late last night. They announced that the sit-in and protest would continue until the abducted youth is safely recovered.
The blockade of the highway caused long queues of vehicles, leaving passengers stranded for hours and creating severe difficulties due to the prolonged traffic jam.
