Tensions Rise in Turbat as Pakistani Forces Seal City, Civilians Report Abuse

A large convoy of Pakistani forces has entered Turbat, the main city of Kech district in Balochistan. The convoy, consisting of several buses and security vehicles, caused major disruptions as authorities sealed off various roads and highways across the city.

According to local sources, security personnel subjected civilians to violence along the routes, with reports of physical assaults and damage to private vehicles, including smashed windows. Citizens have described the behavior of the security forces as aggressive and intimidating.

It is worth noting that the Pakistani military frequently uses civilian passenger buses for troop movement. In recent months, such convoys have been targeted in multiple areas, including Turbat, Nushki, and Khuzdar. Just a day earlier, a military bus was reportedly attacked at Zero Point in Khuzdar.

While the spokesperson for the Pakistani army claimed that the attack targeted a school bus, independent sources have not verified this statement. Conflicting reports continue to emerge about the nature of the explosion and the resulting casualties.
