QUETTA, BALOCHISTAN: Baloch National Movemnet (BNM) Terminates Membership of UK-Based Hamid Ali Baloch Over Alleged Breaches of Party Discipline
The Baloch National Movement (BNM) has terminated the membership of Hamid Ali Baloch, who lives in the United Kingdom (UK), citing repeated violations of organizational discipline, statements against the party on social media and his failure to accept accountability, according to the party spokesperson.
In a statement issued to the media, the spokesperson said Hamid Ali Baloch applied for membership after arriving in the UK and was admitted after meeting the requirements in the party’s constitution and taking an oath of loyalty. The spokesperson said the BNM also supported his bid for political asylum on the basis of his party membership and submitted a request to the British government on his behalf.
The spokesperson said that he deliberately violated party discipline in breach of his oath and repeatedly damaged the party’s reputation through social media statements. The party said his membership was terminated with immediate effect because of what it called his continued irresponsible and undisciplined conduct.
The statement said he is no longer authorised to use the BNM’s name, identity, organizational position or affiliation in any capacity. It said any statement or activity by him would be treated as his personal action, for which the party would bear no responsibility.
The BNM also instructed all its institutions, units, members and departments to avoid any organizational communication with him on party affairs.
Hamid Ali Baloch could not be reached for comment and no response from him has been issued so far.
