In the Gomazi area of Tump, unknown assailants threw a hand grenade at the house of Haris, son of Abdul Majeed, which exploded with a loud blast.
According to local sources, the incident took place this afternoon near the Gomazi market. No casualties have been reported so far.
It is being alleged that the attack was carried out by operatives of state-backed armed group known as the “Death Squad.”
It is worth noting that incidents of abduction, enforced disappearances, and targeted killings by Death Squad operatives have been steadily increasing in Balochistan.
