Kalat: Roadside bomb blast kills 4 people, including women and children, 5 injured

In a roadside bomb (IED) blast in the rural area of Kaputo in Amiri, Kalat, two women, one child, and local Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam leader Maulana Abdullah Nechari were killed, while five others were injured.

According to Levies sources, the explosion occurred when the victims’ vehicle was passing through Kaputo. The blast was so powerful that the vehicle was completely destroyed.

The injured were immediately transferred to DHQ Hospital Kalat, where after receiving initial medical aid, they were referred to Quetta.

The reasons behind the incident are yet to be determined.
