
In Balochistan’s Kalat district, armed men targeted Pakistani forces in an attack, reportedly entering and taking control of military posts. Meanwhile, in Kharan, armed individuals set up a checkpoint on the CPEC road and carried out vehicle searches.
According to reports, the attack took place last night in the Sheikhri area of Kalat, specifically at the Modgand location, where armed men launched an assault on outposts of the Pakistani forces. The attack is said to have lasted several hours, after which the armed men took control of the posts.
The forces reportedly suffered human and material losses as a result of the attack.
Separately, in the Gwash area of Kharan, armed individuals blocked the CPEC road and conducted vehicle checks for several hours. However, no casualties or arrests were reported during the incident.
No group has claimed responsibility for either of the actions as of yet.
