The Balochistan High Court has announced its reserved verdict in the case of human rights advocate Dr. Mahrang Baloch (CP No. 358/25), rejecting her bail petition.
The court converted her constitutional petition into a representation and directed that it be forwarded to the Balochistan Home Secretary for further proceedings.
The verdict was delivered by a two-member bench of the High Court comprising Acting Chief Justice Ejaz Swati and Justice Amir Rana. The ruling was given in the case of Nadia Baloch vs. Government of Balochistan, in which the court stated that the petitioner must first present her grievances before the Ministry of Interior.
On the same grounds, the court also rejected the bail application filed by Dr. Mahrang Baloch.
Her lawyer, Imran, confirmed the court’s decision on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter).
