Quetta: Attack on Police Leaves Three Dead, Two Injured, Assailants Seize Weapons

In the capital of Balochistan, Quetta (locally known as Shal), unidentified armed assailants attacked a police mobile unit, resulting in the deaths of three officers and injuries to two others. The assailants confiscated the police officers’ weapons before fleeing the scene.

According to sources, the incident occurred on Mastung Road in the Saryab area Quetta, where gunmen opened fire on a patrolling police vehicle. Sub-Inspector Abdul Wali Tanoli was among those killed, while the driver and another police officer were wounded in the attack.

Eyewitnesses reported that the assailants swiftly seized the official weapons from the fallen officers before escaping. The identity of the attackers remains unknown, and no group has claimed responsibility for the assault at this time.
