Quetta: Balochistan National Party (BNP) chief Sardar Akhtar Mengal has strongly condemned the forcible disappearance of GulZadi Baloch, a female activist of the Baloch Yakjehti Committee (BYC), by security forces in Quetta. He warned that such actions will further aggravate the already volatile situation in Balochistan.
“I was deeply shocked to hear about the forcible disappearance of Gul Zadi Baloch,” Sardar Akhtar Mengal said. “Such incidents are serious violations of human rights and a slap in the face of justice.”
He added, “Questioning the intent behind such acts One must ask: what kind of message are the authorities trying to send when they suppress peaceful voices instead of listening to their concerns?”
He further stated, “These actions only fuel mistrust and instability. The situation is already out of control, and this approach will only make it worse.”
