
Sammi Deen Baloch, a central leader of the Baloch Yakjehti Committee (BYC), has expressed heartfelt gratitude to all activists, lawyers, journalists, politicians and members of civil society who stood in solidarity with her and raised their voices against her arrest.
She extended special thanks to her lawyer Jibran Nasir, journalist Hamid Mir, Nida Kazmi, and others for their unwavering commitment. She also deeply appreciated the Karachi Bar Council for standing by her and her family during this difficult time.
“I am grateful for the overwhelming support I received, both online and offline,” She stated.
Sammi Deen also acknowledged the steadfast support and tireless efforts of Sardar Akhtar Mengal, expressing deep gratitude for his dedication. “He has stood with us courageously and remains fully committed to the struggle for the release of all detained BYC leaders and activists.”
She emphasized that her release was made possible through collective solidarity. However, she affirmed that the struggle will continue until all BYC leaders and activists are freed.
“Our movement has always been and will remain peaceful,” She concluded. “May this peaceful struggle thrive as we continue our fight for our rights, justice, and the release of all forcibly disappeared individuals.”
