Kalat: The Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) has claimed responsibility for an attack on Pakistani military forces in the Harboi region of Kalat, resulting in the death of five soldiers and severe injuries to a Major-rank officer and two others.
According to a statement issued by BLA spokesperson Jiand Baloch, Baloch fighters ambushed a Pakistani military convoy using a remote-controlled IED, completely destroying a military vehicle. The BLA claims that this attack was a response to the Pakistani military’s attempted incursion into Harboi and its surrounding areas.
The spokesperson added that Pakistani forces have been advancing in the region with aggressive military operations, but Baloch fighters successfully repelled them once again.
The BLA has taken full responsibility for the attack and warned against further Pakistani military offensives in Balochistan.
