Former Chairman of the Baloch National Movement, Khalil Baloch, has strongly condemned the crackdown on the ongoing sit-in protest in Quetta, the massacre of protesters and the enforced disappearance of Baloch Yakjehti Committee (BYC) leader Dr. Mahrang Baloch and others. He stated that these actions are enough to prove that Pakistan is an occupying and imperialist state, while the region remains under colonial rule. However, despite being occupied, it has never been conquered today, the battle between truth and oppression continues.
He asserted that the Pakistani state is engaged in a campaign of racial and political cleansing. Dr. Mahrang Baloch is an intellectual, educated and articulate voice for the people. By forcibly disappearing her along with others, the state has confirmed that the growing national consciousness and resistance have shaken its foundations. The situation has now escalated to the point where the state is even targeting women and children for enforced disappearances an undeniable sign of its desperation and imminent collapse.
Chairman Khalil Baloch further stated that Pakistan’s policy of silencing or eliminating every conscious voice has now become undeniable. The Paistani security forces seek to crush every act of resistance through sheer force. This repression has now entered a new and even bloodier phase. We not only reject this tyranny but also remind the world that national freedom is the outcome of the sacrifices of our martyrs, the resilience of prisoners and the silent yet unwavering struggle of the forcibly disappeared. Today, we are more organized, more aware and more determined than ever before. The national movement will continue to move forward with a strategy that aligns with its defined objectives.
