Pakistani ISPR’s Claim of Ending Operation Is a Lie, Battle Continues – BLA

Quetta – In a sharp rebuke to the Pakistani military’s claims of concluding a successful operation, the Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) has issued a statement alleging that the fighting continues and that the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) is disseminating false information to conceal its battlefield losses.

Jeeyand Baloch, spokesperson for the BLA, released a statement asserting that the “battle continues on multiple fronts” and that Pakistani forces are “suffering heavy casualties and military losses.” The statement directly challenges the ISPR’s narrative, accusing the military of failing to achieve any significant victories and of abandoning its own personnel.”

The claims made by the Pakistani army spokesperson (ISPR) are a failed attempt to cover up lies and defeat,” Baloch stated. “The ground reality is that the battle continues on multiple fronts and the enemy is suffering heavy casualties and military losses. Occupying army has neither achieved victory on the battlefield nor managed to save its hostage personnel.”

A key point of contention is the status of individuals claimed to have been “recovered” by the Pakistani military. The BLA alleges that these individuals were, in fact, “released by the Baloch Liberation Army itself under its war ethics and international norms.”

The group accuses the Pakistani army of “concealing its defeat through propaganda while abandoning its personnel as hostages.”

The BLA further claims that the Pakistani military, “after failing in ground battles, has begun targeting the local Baloch population in an attempt to take revenge for its military helplessness by attacking unarmed civilians.” This allegation raises serious concerns about potential human rights abuses in the conflict zone.

The statement also addresses the issue of prisoner exchange, stating that the BLA had “given Pakistani state an opportunity to show seriousness regarding the issue of prisoners of war and take steps toward a prisoner exchange.”

However, according to the BLA, the Pakistani military “remains fixated on war” and has “abandoned its hostages to die.”In a direct challenge to the Pakistani military’s claims of victory, the BLA calls for independent verification. “BLA challenges Pakistan to accept the reality on the ground. If the occupying army truly claims victory, then it should allow independent journalists and impartial sources access to the war-torn areas so that the world can witness the real losses suffered by the Pakistani army,” the statement said.

The statement concludes with a defiant declaration, asserting that “this battle has now gone beyond the control of the Pakistani state. In every confrontation, the enemy’s defeat is inevitable, and BLA is fighting with full force to bring this war to a logical conclusion on its own terms.”
