NASEERABAD, BALOCHISTAN: Unidentified Armed Men Destroy Two Electricity Towers

According to details, unidentified armed men blew up two electricity transmission towers with explosive material late last night near Piro Pul, close to the Mir Hassan area of Naseerabad, Balochistan. The towers were part of the power line carrying electricity from the Uch Power Plant to Punjab.

According to local sources, two towers collapsed to the ground in the explosion, while two others sustained severe damage.

No group has so far claimed responsibility for the attack. Similar attacks on power infrastructure in Balochistan have previously been claimed by Baloch separatist groups; however, no such claim has been made in this case as of this report.
