Quetta: Jaffar Express Suspended for a Day; Key Roads Sealed with Containers

QUETTA, BALOCHISTAN: The Jaffar Express has been suspended for one day.

According to railway officials, the train from Quetta to Peshawar will not operate, while the Jaffar Express arriving from Peshawar will be halted at Sibi Railway Station. Passengers have been advised to check the train’s latest status before traveling.

Several major roads in Quetta city were sealed off late at night using shipping containers, including Pishin Stop, Benazir Bridge, Joint Road, Double Road Bridge, Red Zone, College Road Link, and Brewery Spinney. Residents have been advised to use alternate routes for their morning commute.
