
Khuzdar, Lasbela, Surab, Dalbandin: Deadly Attacks on Pakistani Forces, Several Personnel Killed, 9 in Custody
Reports have emerged of armed attacks and operations targeting Pakistani military and police in various areas of Balochistan Khuzdar, Lasbela, Sorab and Dalbandin over the past twenty-four hours, with claims of multiple personnel killed, vehicles destroyed and a checkpoint seized.
According to initial reports, armed Baloch Freedom Fighters targeted a convoy of five Pakistani military vehicles in the Lakhorian area of Khuzdar, with claims emerging of multiple personnel killed.
In a separate incident, armed men reportedly took complete control of a police checkpoint on the Quetta-Karachi trade highway (RCD Highway) in Lasbela.
The armed men reportedly took nine police personnel into custody during the operation, including the officer in charge, Gulab. Reports further claim that six weapons, military equipment and five motorcycles were seized from security personnel.
Similarly, according to reports from the Gidar area of Surab, a Pakistani military convoy comprising two vehicles came under heavy attack by armed men.
Sources claim that one military vehicle was severely targeted in the attack, resulting in the deaths of all personnel aboard. However, this information has not yet been independently or officially confirmed, and further details are awaited.
Meanwhile, according to regional sources in Dalbandin, a large Pakistani military convoy came under a severe attack in the Chahtar area of Dalbandin on the Quetta-Taftan trade highway.
Local sources say a rocket strike completely destroyed one military vehicle, while other vehicles in the convoy are also reported to have sustained severe damage.
No official details or statement have been issued by authorities regarding any of these incidents or the reported losses.
