
NOSHKI, BALOCHISTAN: A curfew has been imposed in Noshki until July 31, according to a notification issued by the Home Department.
The notification said that attacks on law enforcement agencies, sensitive government installations, and National Highway N-40 have increased in recent days, posing serious threats to public life and property, government assets, travellers, and commercial activity.
It further stated that, according to intelligence reports, further incidents are feared during the upcoming month of August, potentially targeting law enforcement agencies, government installations, and other sensitive sites.
Under the notification, exercising powers under Section 144 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1898, a complete curfew has been imposed within the limits of Noshki district from 8:00 PM on July 28, 2026, until 8:00 PM on July 31, 2026.
During the curfew, no person will be permitted to leave their home or move within the district without prior permission from the competent authority or instructions from the district administration. All public gatherings, processions, unnecessary travel, and movement will remain banned.
