
QUETTA, BALOCHISTAN; In a series of violent incidents across Balochistan, three people were killed in separate events in Quetta and Turbat, while a mutilated body was recovered near Panjgur.
In Quetta, two armed robbers were killed in an alleged police encounter near the taxi stand early Thursday morning. Police said the robbers were looting people when officers arrived on the scene. The suspects opened fire on the police, who responded and killed both assailants. The bodies were taken to the civil hospital for identification and further legal procedures.
Meanwhile, in the Dasht area of Kech, an unknown group of armed men opened fire in the Achanak Bazaar, killing a man named Hamid, who died on the spot. The victim was reportedly from Dasht Harani Bent. The body was transferred to the hospital for necessary legal action, and investigations into the motive are ongoing.
Additionally, near Chakkol in Panjgur, the body of a man identified as Habib Parom, a local resident, was found. Police confirmed he was shot dead, and his body was taken to the Panjgur Teaching Hospital for official procedures. The reasons behind the killing remain unknown as investigations continue.
