BLA Claims Responsibility for Killing of CTD Officer DSP Afzal in Nushki

QUETTA, BALOCHISTAN: The Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) has claimed responsibility for the assassination of Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) officer, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Afzal Muhammad HasSni, in Nushki.

In a brief statement to the media, BLA spokesperson Jeeyand Baloch said that their fighters carried out the armed attack on DSP Afzal in the Nushki market today. The operation was executed by the BLA’s Special Tactical Operations Squad (STOS).

The spokesperson further stated that the slain officer was directly involved in policies targeting the Baloch population. A detailed statement regarding the attack will be released to the media soon.
