NOSHKI, BALOCHISTAN: Armed men launched a coordinated and intense attack on a military checkpoint and a passing army convoy simultaneously in the Glangour area of Noshki on June 13, leaving more than a dozen security personnel dead and wounded
According to sources, a large number of heavily armed militants attacked the Glangour military checkpoint, located in a mountainous area to the west of Noshki, using heavy and modern weaponry. At the same time, a military convoy consisting of at least three vehicles was passing near the Glangour checkpoint was also targeted from multiple directions in what appears to have been a carefully coordinated ambush.
Sources confirmed that the attack continued for a considerable period of time, during which Pakistani forces suffered significant casualties.
Reports indicate that more than a dozen military personnel were killed and wounded in the attack, though the exact figures have not been officially confirmed.
It is worth noting that attacks of this nature in Balochistan are typically claimed by Baloch separatist organizations. However, no group has so far claimed responsibility for the Glangour attack at the time of this report.
