
QUETTA, BALOCHISTAN: Three people were killed in two separate shooting incidents across Balochistan Friday.
According to source, In Noshki, armed individuals opened fire near the library of Government Boys High School in Killi Jamaludini, killing Haq Nawaz Jamaludini on the spot. School teacher Muhammad Akram Jamaludini was critically wounded and later succumbed to his injuries at hospital.
Police said the motive behind the attack remains unknown and investigations are underway.
In a separate incident, unknown gunmen shot and killed Maulana Abdul Khaliq, a leader of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Fazl (JUIF), in the Sar Ghund area of Khanozai. No group has claimed responsibility.
Authorities have not issued any further statement regarding either incident.
