Khuzdar: Woman and her Cousin Forcibly Disappeared by Pakistani Forces

KHUZDAR: A woman and her cousin have reportedly been taken into custody and subsequently gone missing after a raid by security forces in the Nal area of Khuzdar.

According to sources, the forces conducted a late-night raid on a house in the Istakhli area of Nal, where family members were subjected to violence. During the operation, a woman and her cousin present at the house were taken away by the personnel.

The missing individuals have been identified as Sameena, daughter of Dost Muhammad and a resident of Ornach, and her cousin Qambar, son of Latif. Family members said both were taken into custody at around 9 PM and shifted to an undisclosed location, after which no information about their whereabouts has been received.

The family has expressed serious concern over the incident and demanded the immediate recovery of both individuals.

Sources further stated that in recent days, multiple cases of enforced disappearances of women have been reported from Balochistan and Karachi, including the case of Khadija Baloch, a student who reportedly went missing from the Bolan Medical College Girls hostel in Quetta.
