Bolan, Balochistan: In two separate incidents today, unknown assailants targeted key infrastructure and government offices in Bolan.
In the first incident, unidentified individuals detonated explosives on the railway track at the Haji Shar area of Bolan. The explosion caused severe damage, destroying a section of the railway track and disrupting train services in the area.
In a related development, the Deputy Commissioner’s (DC) Office in Bolan was attacked with a hand grenade by unknown persons. The attack did not result in any casualties. Security forces swiftly cordoned off the area and launched a search operation to track down the perpetrators.
These incidents come amid ongoing security challenges in Balochistan, where attacks on infrastructure have frequently targeted state institutions by Baloch armed groups. Authorities are urging local communities to cooperate with law enforcement agencies to maintain peace and stability.
