Balochistan Government Decides to Conduct Grade 4 to 16 Recruitment through Artificial Intelligence

QUETTA: The Balochistan government has decided to conduct government recruitments from Grade 4 to 16 through artificial intelligence (AI).

According to Shahid Rand, Assistant for Political and Media Affairs, this system will be implemented from the next fiscal year to ensure transparency, merit and the use of modern technology in recruitments, while recruitments for Grades 1 to 4 will be conducted at the respective district levels.

In a cabinet meeting, the Balochistan government approved several important decisions, including a comprehensive policy on the use of the Balochistan Climate Change Fund, the first Advertisement Policy 2026, and the provision of 3 billion PKR as seed money and 1 billion PKR for arrears to the Balochistan Public Endowment Fund. Under the new advertising policy, a decision was made to eliminate dummy newspapers and bring social media under a formal regulatory framework.

The cabinet also agreed to the federal policy of purchasing wheat for strategic reserves from the private sector and will request the federal government to purchase 100,000 metric tons of wheat if needed.

Shahid Rind stated that all these measures are being taken to improve governance, ensure transparent recruitments, strengthen food security, and enhance public welfare projects.
