
KALAT: The Spokesperson for Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) Azad Baloch, has claimed responsibility for the targeted killing of Rahim Sasoli, identified as the head of a death squad engaged in anti-Baloch movement activities in Kalat. The attack took place in the Neemargh area of Kalat.
According to a press release from the BLA, Rahim Sasoli, described as an agent working under the Pakistani intelligence agency ISI, was executed for his involvement in collaborating with occupying forces to arrest and kill Baloch freedom activists. The operation also resulted in the death of Sasoli’s armed guard, Zafarullah, while another guard, Ikramullah, sustained critical injuries.
The BLA stated that the group had been monitoring Sasoli and his associates closely before choosing the moment to carry out the attack at a tube well on Sasoli’s farmland in Neemargh.
The spokesperson for the BLA reiterated the group’s commitment to pursuing all state informants implicated in actions against Baloch activists and affirmed that their struggle for Balochistan’s independence will continue without interruption.
