QUETTA: The Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF) has claimed responsibility for killing three state agents during separate intelligence-based operations in different areas of Kech, according to a statement issued by the group’s spokesperson, Major Gwahram Baloch.
In the statement, Major Gwahram Baloch said that on March 4, 2026, BLF fighters carried out a targeted operation in the Konshqalat area of Tump, in which a man identified as Muslim, son of Ismail, was killed.
The group said that the individual was a member of a state-backed local “death squad.” According to the statement, the fighters initially attempted to capture him alive for interrogation, but he attempted to flee after seeing them and was subsequently shot dead.
The BLF further said that the individual had been operating under the patronage of Saeed Abid, whom the group described as the head of a death squad active in Tump. The statement claimed he had been involved in informing on Baloch youth, facilitating enforced disappearances, and assisting operations against the local population.
In another operation on March 12, 2026, the group said its fighters carried out an intelligence-based action in the Absar area of Turbat, killing a man identified as Parvez, son of NekBakht. According to the BLF statement, Parvez had previously been associated with the movement but surrendered to the Pakistani army in 2017 and later became active against the national movement. The group said its fighters attempted to capture him alive, but he resisted and was killed during the operation.
The BLF also said that on February 11, 2026, its fighters detained Wahid, son of Kamalan, a resident of Tejaban, during an intelligence-based operation in the Karki area. The group said that he was acting as an informant for the Pakistani army and a local death squad.
According to the statement, he was interrogated and confessed to involvement in several activities, including the killing of two BLF fighters in Balgatar on February 4, 2022, and participating in operations alongside Pakistani forces in areas including Balgatar, Hoshab, Tejaban and Kirki. The BLF said he was executed on March 6, 2026, following the interrogation.
The group stated that agents and members of death squads are on its target list and warned that individuals involved in espionage against the Baloch national struggle would be targeted.
