QUETTA: The spokesperson for the Baloch Republican Guards (BRG), Dostain Baloch, said in a statement sent to the media that fighters targeted a 36-inch-diameter gas pipeline running from Sui to Karachi, which supplies gas to populated areas along the route. The attack took place on the evening of March 11 at Kashmore, where explosives were used to damage the pipeline.
According to the spokesperson, the explosion caused significant damage to the gas pipeline.
The spokesperson further stated that the Baloch Republican Guards accept responsibility for damaging the gas pipeline from Sui to Karachi at Kashmore using explosive materials.
He reiterated their commitment that no one will be allowed to plunder the mineral resources of Balochistan, and that strong attacks will continue.
