Panjgur: Authorities reported a powerful explosion near the Rakshan Nadi bridge on the CPEC road in Panjgur, Balochistan, late on Tuesday, causing partial damage to the structure.

Sources said the blast was strong enough to be heard from a distance, creating fear among local residents. Initial reports indicate that no casualties have been confirmed.

Security forces and law enforcement agencies quickly arrived at the site and cordoned off the area, initiating a search and investigation. Officials said the cause and nature of the explosion are under investigation and the extent of the damage to the bridge is being assessed.

The CPEC road is considered a major highway, with significant daily traffic, which was briefly disrupted following the blast.
